Turn LATAM ambition into measurable revenue.
Leiva Consultores is the go-to-market and growth partner for technology vendors entering Latin America — and enterprises ready to scale in Mexico. Strategy that ships. Execution that closes.
Consultants advise. We build markets — and own the number.
Most firms hand you a deck and walk away. We bring 25+ years of operator scar tissue, a live channel network across Latin America, and a model aligned to the only metric that matters: revenue closed.
Operator, not advisor
Built a $200M+ operation from zero, ran full P&L, founded and exited companies. We've sat in your seat — so the strategy survives contact with the market.
Relationship capital that's live
Decision-maker access across financial services, energy, manufacturing, government and critical infrastructure in Mexico and LATAM. Doors that take competitors years.
Channel-first by design
Expert in MSSP, reseller and distributor ecosystems. We recruit, enable and activate partners so growth compounds instead of depending on one rep at a time.
Aligned to your outcome
Retainer plus commission plus equity. We win when you win — which means the plan is engineered for closed deals, not billable hours.
Two-way market bridge
Global vendors landing in LATAM, and LATAM enterprises accessing technology with limited regional presence. We translate in both directions.
Speed where it counts
Deal cycles in Mexico are long — unless you start with the right relationships, positioning and pricing. We compress quarters into weeks.
Vendors, distributors and enterprises we've built, partnered and grown with
We don't just advise emerging vendors. We've scaled them to exit.
Across two decades running vendor acceleration and regional go-to-market, we've taken sub-$100M technology companies and built them into real businesses — several of which were acquired by Cisco, AT&T, Ivanti, Rapid7 and Francisco Partners.
Sub-$100M vendors, scaled globally
Led the program that took emerging technology vendors under $100M in revenue and built the channel, positioning and route-to-market to scale them internationally — through growth and, in several cases, through acquisition.
Early regional entry
Brought high-growth security and infrastructure vendors into Mexico and Latin America early — often as their first serious regional motion — building the partner base and first enterprise references from scratch.
Exits from the portfolio
$2.9B+ in disclosed transaction valueVendors developed through the Vendor Acceleration Program at Westcon-Comstor and through MBQ (now Batuta). Company names are referenced to describe professional experience and do not imply endorsement or a current commercial relationship. Transaction values as publicly disclosed.
Five engagements, one objective: profitable growth.
Each engagement is scoped to your stage and stitched to the next. Mix and sequence them — or run the full build end to end, from market strategy to the leaders who execute it.
Go-to-Market Strategy
The market-entry blueprint: ICP and segmentation, value proposition and positioning, pricing and packaging for LATAM, channel vs. direct model, and a 12-month revenue plan with milestones. From thesis to first signed logo.
Business Growth Consulting
For companies already in-market that have plateaued. We diagnose the leaks, rebuild the pipeline engine, fix unit economics, and install the systems and automation that turn incremental gains into exponential ones.
Business Strategy Consulting
The board-level view: where to play and how to win in LATAM. Competitive landscape, M&A and partnership theses, P&L modeling, currency and exclusivity terms, and the operating cadence to execute against it.
Channel & Ecosystem Development
The compounding growth layer. Recruit, enable and activate the right resellers, MSSPs and distributors. Partner programs, enablement, deal registration and joint POCs that make the channel sell for you.
Executive & Leadership Development Coaching
Strategy only scales as far as the people running it. Coaching for founders, executives and emerging leaders across two tracks — individual contributor to manager, and manager to director — measured end to end on our own ASCEND assessment platform.
See the coaching practiceOne bridge. Two directions of travel.
Tech vendors entering Latin America
Series C+ and emerging vendors who need a credible, fast, low-risk path into the region — without standing up a local team blind.
Enterprises scaling in Mexico
Corporations in regulated, high-stakes sectors that need access to best-in-class technology with limited regional presence — and the strategy to deploy it.
A strategy only scales as far as the leaders running it.
Most growth plans don't fail on the analysis — they fail on the bench. We develop the people who have to carry the number: founders under pressure, first-time managers, and the directors who will run the region after you've scaled it.
First-time leaders
The hardest transition in any career: from being valued for the work you produce to being measured by what your team delivers without you.
Leaders of leaders
From managing execution to setting direction — where the job stops being about your team and starts being about the business.
1:1 Executive Coaching
Confidential engagements for founders, C-suite and senior leaders. Structured sessions with a working agenda, not open-ended conversation.
Cohort Programs
Six- to twelve-month development programs run across a full cohort, so an entire management layer moves together instead of one leader at a time.
Cross-Cultural Team Performance
The friction that quietly kills cross-border execution: how US headquarters and LATAM teams read urgency, hierarchy, commitment and dissent differently.
Coaching you can actually measure.
Most leadership development ends with a good conversation and no evidence. ASCEND is our own assessment and development platform — it establishes a baseline, generates a personalized plan, and tracks whether the leader moved.
Leadership Type Indicator
An MBTI-style instrument establishing how a leader naturally takes in information, decides and engages — the starting point for everything that follows.
Preferences & Paradox Inventory
A Harrison-style inventory across twelve leadership paradoxes — the tensions, like candor versus diplomacy or drive versus patience, where real leadership is decided.
Role-Specific Competency Model
Competencies calibrated to the role the leader is moving into, not the one they already hold — scored against the target, so the gap is explicit.
360° Feedback
Managers, peers and direct reports rate through a private link. Results contrast self-perception against the external view, surfacing blind spots and hidden strengths.
Personalized Development Path
Auto-generated from the results: 70-20-10 actions, a twelve-month roadmap and a coaching cadence — prioritized by what others see, not only self-report.
Coach & Sponsor Dashboard
A cohort-wide competency heatmap showing where an entire management layer is strong, where it is thin, and where to invest development budget next.
Deployed in Spanish for LATAM cohorts · Private by engagement
A 90-day path from thesis to traction.
No 200-slide reports gathering dust. A tight, accountable cadence that produces a working revenue engine.
Diagnose
Market reality, competitive position, ICP and the unit economics. We pressure-test the thesis before a peso is spent.
Design
The GTM blueprint: positioning, pricing, channel model and a 12-month plan with named milestones and owners.
Activate
We open doors, recruit partners, and run the first deals and POCs — execution alongside you, not a handoff.
Scale
Systematize what works, install automation, and hand over a repeatable engine — or keep driving it as your team.
Building the #2 Cisco distributor in Mexico in under two years and a $200M+ operation from zero taught one lesson: in LATAM, relationships and execution beat a perfect plan every time.

What founders and executives ask first.
What exactly does Leiva Consultores do?
We are a go-to-market, growth and business strategy consultancy focused on Latin America. We help global technology vendors enter and scale in LATAM, and we help enterprises in Mexico access and deploy best-in-class technology. Strategy plus hands-on execution.
How are you different from a traditional consulting firm?
We're operators. We've built a $200M+ business, run full P&L, founded and exited companies, and ranked as the #2 Cisco distributor in Mexico in under two years. We don't hand you a deck and leave — we open doors, recruit channel partners and help close the first deals.
Do you only work in cybersecurity?
Cybersecurity and adjacent technology are a core strength — including SASE, Zero Trust and MSSP ecosystems — but our GTM and growth methodology applies across enterprise technology. We have deep vertical experience in financial services, energy, manufacturing, critical infrastructure, healthcare and government.
We're a Series C+ vendor with no LATAM presence. Where do we start?
Start with a strategy call. From there we typically run a Go-to-Market engagement: validating your ICP and pricing for the region, choosing a channel-vs-direct model, and building a 12-month revenue plan — then we help execute it with our existing partner network.
How is an engagement structured commercially?
We work on a blend of monthly retainer, commission on closed deals, and in select cases equity. The mix aligns our incentives with your revenue outcomes. Exact terms depend on stage, scope, deal size and exclusivity — we'll scope it together on the call.
How long until we see results in Mexico and LATAM?
Enterprise deal cycles in the region are genuinely longer than in the US. The advantage of starting with established relationships, correct positioning and the right channel is that you skip the slowest part. Most clients see a working pipeline within the first 90 days.
Do you work in English and Spanish?
Yes. We operate natively in both English and Latin American Spanish, which is essential for bridging global vendors and regional enterprises and decision-makers.
Which markets and cities do you cover?
We are based in Mexico City and serve Mexico nationally — including Monterrey, Guadalajara, Querétaro, Puebla and the Bajío — as well as broader Latin American markets on a cross-border basis.
Do you offer executive and leadership coaching?
Yes — it's a full practice, not an add-on. We run one-on-one coaching for founders and C-suite executives, plus two structured development tracks: individual contributor to manager, and manager to director. It pairs naturally with our strategy and growth work: the plan and the people who execute it, built together.
Which technology vendors have you worked with?
Through the Vendor Acceleration Program at Westcon-Comstor we developed emerging vendors including BeyondTrust, AlienVault, FireMon, Viptela, Pulse Secure and Microsoft Cloud — taking companies under $100M in revenue and scaling them internationally. Through MBQ (now Batuta) we brought vendors including Splunk, CrowdStrike, Cortex, Verkada, Sumo Logic, Automox, Halcyon, Minerva Labs and Cyolo into Mexico and Latin America early in their regional motion. Several were subsequently acquired — Viptela by Cisco, AlienVault by AT&T, Pulse Secure by Ivanti, Sumo Logic by Francisco Partners and Minerva Labs by Rapid7.
What is the ASCEND platform?
ASCEND is our own leadership assessment and development platform. It combines three instruments — a leadership type indicator, a preferences and paradox inventory across twelve leadership tensions, and a competency model calibrated to the role the leader is moving into — with 360° feedback from managers, peers and direct reports. From the results it generates a personalized development path: 70-20-10 actions, a twelve-month roadmap and a coaching cadence.
How do you measure whether coaching actually worked?
We baseline every leader on ASCEND before the engagement starts, so there is a documented starting point rather than an impression. Progress is tracked against the target-role competency model and re-measured with 360° input, which shows movement in how others experience the leader — not just self-report. Sponsors get a cohort-wide competency heatmap showing where the management layer is strong, where it is thin, and where to invest next.
Can you develop a whole management layer, not just one executive?
Yes. Cohort programs run six to twelve months across an entire layer of leadership, so a management team advances together and shares a common language instead of one leader improving in isolation. This is usually the right choice when a company is scaling headcount quickly or promoting a wave of first-time managers.
What happens on the strategy call?
A candid 30-minute working session. We diagnose your situation, identify the fastest realistic path to revenue, and tell you honestly whether and how we can help. There's no obligation and no sales pitch.
